What's the difference between PURPOSES and PLANS?

PURPOSE asks "Why?" PLANS ask "What, how, when, where, and with whom?" Plans provide the bones, the infrastructure on which to build and grow. Plans give us a track to run on.

At WhiteStone Professionals, we believe in planning. Our retreats, group coaching and quarterly check-in services are designed to help you make plans, execute, monitor and yes, even change plans.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

A WhiteStone Professionals Strategic Planning Retreat will guide you and your team to review your past year, assess your present status, and lay out goals and strategies for the coming year. But then, any consulting company will probably do that. We add something unique. We do it prayerfully. We teach you to connect with God through listening prayer so that you can discover HIS plans for you, your team and your organization. To us, it just makes sense. If God already knows the plans that He has for us, doesn't it make sense to find out what they are? In our experience, life is a whole lot better when we align ourselves with God's plans.

But plans aren't just annual. We need to break them down into chunks we can get our arms around. Quarterly Check-ins are mini-strategic planning retreats. We meet once a quarter to look back at the previous quarter and forward to the next one. Then get serious about putting on your calendar what you need to do monthly, weekly, and daily for the next 90 days.

Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
